GOAL:
  • Students score in the Proficient or Above Proficient range in the end-of-course exam.
METHODS:
  • Pre-test for units and/or quarters to measure student prior knowledge
  • Adjust instructional time and depth of focus for content delivery
  • Post-test results compared among teachers in PLC's; discussion focused upon which methods of delivery were most successful
  • Adjust instructional delivery based upon consensus findings of the PLC group
WHAT DO YOU DO ABOUT THE KIDS THAT DON'T UNDERSTAND THE MATERIAL?
  • talk to the student and contact the parent/guardian
  • reteach the concepts on an individual level
